1973

Arkansas

These seven studies, from four separate tapes, are from unknown North American camps. It is not clear which camps they were from, as Fred makes no introduction about the location, as he did in later years.

But around 1974 and on, there were definite themes, such as God’s Character, Seven Angels, and God’s Sabbath Rest. This camp is on older material, such as the Seven Days of Opportunity, and Divine Order.

In the account of camps in the News Review magazine, there were three in 1973 in North America:

  1. Arkansas
  2. Arizona
  3. California

Since Arkansas is the first recorded camp meeting in North America, I have placed these 7 studies in that camp, although the themes discussed at the camp are not mentioned in the News Review. Therefore, I am assuming these studies came from that camp. It is also possible they came from Arkansas or California, or they may have come from a Californian camp in 1971 or 1972, or any mixture of the above options!

There is a recording quality difference between the Matthew 22/25 studies, and the other ones, so perhaps this indicates they were from another camp.

In any case, for the sake of simplicity, I’m putting these studies together under 1973 Arkansas.
