Daniel – The Main Message

This is a slideshow discussing the main, and mostly overlooked, message of the book of Daniel. It was originally prepared some years ago by a member of our church in Germany, Ralf Euerl. I have translated it into English.

Ralf prepared a number of slideshows on the book of Daniel, which I hope to put up soon. Most of the others delve into history and prophecy, but this one is a bit different. It deals with the core message of the Bible, and the book of Daniel: God’s relationship with us. The purpose of the Bible is to bring us back into harmony with God. That’s what the book of Daniel is really about.

    1. Chelsea, well, it is stated at the beginning of the slideshow: “Seeking God with the whole heart.” If you consider how Daniel sought the Lord for the answer to the dream, how Nebuchadnezzar was finally converted by seeking the Lord, how Daniel was preserved in the Lion’s Den by seeking the Lord, and how the victory at the end (Daniel 11/12) will be won by praying companies, it is clear to see this. Also, the slideshow brings out the thought that God may send others to help us find Him, and when sin is revealed, if we are seeking for the Lord first and foremost, we will not be turned away by this, but will be glad to find Him at any cost to ourselves.
