Martin Luther: A Character Sketch

Martin Luther: A Character SketchMartin Luther, the German reformer, was the man God used to bring spiritual deliverance to His people from bondage to the anti-Christian Catholic system that dominated Europe during the Middle Ages.

Here are a series of articles from the pen of Ellen White, that briefly cover the history of Luther, from his childhood to the triumphs of the Reformation, when the word of God was translated into the language of the common people, and was eagerly studied and lived among them.

There are details and lessons brought out in these articles which are not included in the more widely circulated volume, The Great Controversy. Therefore, I have presented these articles in book form, for the benefit of all modern day “reformers” who want to walk in the path that God so clearly marked out in those early days. 144p
