It’s a rich treasure trove of the wonderful blend of Gospel and Prophecy that God has given in the Advent message to prepare His Church to play their role in the closing scenes of this Earth’s history.
Dec 1, 2023 – Another Look at Acts 3:19
This article, by F. T. Wright, appeared in the first issue of The Messenger, in January/February 1966. It deals with a misconception that the Judgment of the Living (at least for some saints) would come before the Latter Rain. This misconception was prevalent among the Brinsmead Awakening, and is still held by some small groups today. As I am about to release the first volume of a collection of Brinsmead articles, I thought it would be useful to have this article available, in case there are questions.

The Biblical reasons for the continuing morality of the Sabbath commandment are laid out, some history is given of the gradual apostasy that led to the replacement of the seventh day with the first day in the church, and the relationship of the Sabbath to the Law and Gospel are also made plain.

Here is a formatting update to this concise pamphlet by J. N. Andrews. This was one of the first booklets I prepared in 2016, so it was due for an update to bring it in-line with our latest standards.
July 28, 2023 – Conditional Immortality Collection
This is a new release. It contains four writings from the pen of J. N. Andrews, regarding man’s natural mortality (as opposed to the false teaching of the immortality of the soul). The doctrine is explored, and some of the difficult passages of Scripture are set in a proper light.
July 23, 2023 – Steps to Christ
Here is a new release of a book that has been widely printed and distributed. But I have applied our formatting rules to make it easier to read, so this edition will be special. I’ve also included the original pictures from the 1921 edition, a sermon by A. T. Jones in which he compares the gospel presented in Steps to Christ to the Catholic idea of justification, 13 songs written by church members on Bible verses used in the book, and a few other surprises.

June 11, 2023 – The Complete Testimony of the Fathers
Here is a new release of an older book (1876) from J. N. Andrews, one of the Adventist Church pioneers. It covers the testimony from the so-called early church “Fathers” regarding the Sabbath/Sunday issue, and the Law of God.
June 5, 2023 – Questions and Answers on the Bible
Here is a long-awaited and brand new release! It contains 1200+ pages (191 articles) of Bible teaching from E. J. Waggoner, originally published in his Present Truth periodical via a column called “Editor’s Private Corner,” which allowed readers to ask questions on Bible topics. Being one of the last published works that Waggoner produced, it contains the wisdom and experience he gained from years of teaching and living the Advent faith.

It is a small booklet giving a brief overview of the books of Daniel and the Revelation, from the point of view that the purpose of prophecy is the restoration of the moral image of God in man, and then the revelation of that character to the world.
Feb 11, 2023 – Wrested Scriptures Made Plain
This is a new offering. It is a book from 1900, by a Wesleyan Methodist Pentecostal minister. The Methodist Pentecostals believed in a work of sanctification that cleansed away the carnal mind. This makes it similar to the gospel we believe in. The book goes through many of the Bible texts commonly misused to justify sin in the Christian, and shows that they mean something else altogether, and that living victory over sin is God’s ideal, and is accessible to the repenting, believing child of God.
Feb 8, 2023 – How to Keep the Doctor Away
Here is a new offering, from the Brinsmead Awakening era (early 1960’s). It is a nicely-illustrated booklet on health principles. It covers the basic Laws of Health, and also has some articles on the power of the Gospel to bring healing and self-control back to the needy human agent.
Jan 18, 2023 – Letters to the Churches
M. L. Andreasen’s classic work of warning was one of the first books published on this website, back in 2016. It was time for this to receive an update, so it now has all the new formatting rules, a new cover, some corrections, and I’ve included a rare personal letter that Andreasen wrote to a brother, wherein he states, “I have not recanted.”

Here is a new item from the past. This is a Millerite production, from The Advent Shield of September 1844, written by Sylvester Bliss (minister, editor, and author). In this booklet, he covers some of the history of the German Reformation and compares some of its aspects with the Advent movement. Very interesting!

Nov 04, 2022 – The Little Book Opened
Here is a formatting update to this book which was just released last week. I’m finalizing a new format for page margins with this release, taking away the (inner) binding margin and making all margins 0.5″. This will also eliminate the blank pages that sometimes were inserted before chapters, to keep them all on the right page. These were all “printing/binding” rules, and I’ve decided to format mainly for ePDF now. All new publications, and any revisions from this point forward, will follow the new page layout rules. Note: the page size remains the same as before (5.5″ x 8.5″).

Here is a significant new release. This book contains the last articles written by F. T. Wright, up until the time of his death. It’s a spiritual look into the book of Daniel (with references to Revelation). This is essential knowledge.

This is a formatting update. Waggoner’s letter to Butler in which he disputes Butler’s interpretation of the law and gospel in Galatians is a classic, that brought the 1888 Message into the spotlight.

Here is an article drawn from Edward Irving’s writings on the book of Revelation. This one comes from “The Epistle to the Church in Smyrna,” volume 5 in the series. It is about the human nature of Christ, and emphasizes the point that if Christ did not have the same flesh and blood body as us, the whole plan of salvation would have failed.

Aug 28, 2022 – How Does God Heal Today?
Here is a study given by Andreas Dura, on God’s healing work. It was presented about a year before Andreas passed away. It covers the misconceptions that the Jews and the Apostles had with regard to miracles, and how we might share some of these same misconceptions.
July 30, 2022 – The Work of the Angels
A new release! The studies in this book were presented in a camp-meeting in 1991. This is their first appearance in book form, and it is long overdue, with many more to follow from the teachings of Christ through Andreas Dura. The work of the Angels of heaven is brought to our view, and we see how closely involved they are in all the events of this earth, and especially in the work of the church.
July 17, 2022 – The Seven Churches of Revelation
Finally, we have a production from the writings of William Miller, father of the Advent movement in America! This booklet treats the seven churches of Revelation 2 and 3 as prophetic time periods in the history of the church, from the time of the apostles, down to the Second Advent.
July 1, 2022 – Christ Our Life
Originally released about 4 years ago, this book by Waggoner needed an update. Formatting has been updated, errors corrected, and historic Bible images added throughout.
June 22, 2022 – The Exaltation of Mary
I wrote this article in response to a video about Mary (the mother of Jesus’ humanity), that was shared with me by a Catholic. The story of Mary has been sadly abused by people claiming to be religious. Some Bible evidence is considered, in order to gain a proper picture: one that exalts the power of God to save all people, even the weakest.
June 20, 2022 – What Was The 1888 Message?
Yet another new release. This pamphlet, from the Brinsmead Awakening revival, explains the 1888 Adventist gospel message: how it is the same as that taught by the Protestant Reformers (and the Old Testament saints), and how it also goes further. It also contains the earliest application of Matthew 22, and the two calls to the wedding, to 1888 (the first call) and the revival of that message in the 1950’s and 60’s (the second call).
June 19, 2022 – Revelation 13 & 14
Another new release. This is a collection of two series of articles from A. T. Jones. One is a series on “The Image of the Beast,” written in 1886; and the other is a series of Sabbath School questions (and answers) for the weekly church lesson of 1888. Both cover similar ground, so they fit well together.
June 19, 2022 – Who Shall Be Able To Stand?
This book (covering some of Revelation 13 and 14) was posted about 4 years ago, so it was time for an update. Newer formatting rules were applied, the cover was updated a bit, ornament images were placed on blank pages, and one missing article was added.
June 16, 2022 – Through the Bible
A new release! Here is a collection of articles published in 1908 in the Medical Missionary periodical. They provide a nice introduction to the Bible, and then the first 8 chapters of Genesis are commented on. In all the writings of Jones and Waggoner, this publication contains the only explanation of the everlasting covenant given to Noah. Also includes some historic Bible pictures.
June 7, 2022 – The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Book 1
This is a second formatting update to the first volume of Edward Irving’s excellent commentary on the book of Revelation. It should be the final edit. I’ve added a few pictures, and brought all the styles finally up-to-date. I’ve changed some of the styles that caused unneeded fonts to be embedded in the PDF. Eventually, all the 15 volumes of this series will be updated the same way.

This new release of Children’s Articles, from the pen of E. J. Waggoner, marks the beginning of a new series. There will be 10 more books to come with articles for children, organized according to topic. From the time E. J. Waggoner took over as editor of the Present Truth periodical in England, he always reserved a column for the children, and often wrote the articles himself. These have never been gathered and published before. This first volume is comprised of 14 articles written in 1903 and aimed at the very youngest children. I have included historic Bible pictures.

May 17, 2022 – Facsimile Editions
I have posted some facsimile editions of certain of E. J. Waggoner’s books: Christ Our Righteousness (also called, Christ and His Righteousness), The Everlasting Covenant, The Glad Tidings, and The Gospel in Creation. These were produced by tm91books.ca and I helped them on the cleanup of The Everlasting Covenant. These facsimile editions are either straight photocopies of the original book pages, or made to look exactly the same. Although we don’t modify the text of Waggoner and Jones on this website, other than to modernize the old English Bible quotes, some people still prefer to read the originals. TM91Books also worked with a translator to produce a Russian version of The Everlasting Covenant, which I have posted in a new Russian translations page.

The message given by Waggoner and Jones was to illuminate God’s character. In this article, Waggoner explains how God’s mercy never ends. Unlike sinful man, God’s mercy and patience are not “exhausted” when wrath comes. Rather, it is sinful man that ceases to ask for mercy which makes the stream of mercy to stop.

New Release! Edward Irving, the Second Advent preacher in England in the early 1800’s, produced this book on the office of the Missionary in 1824, shortly before he began his study on prophecy. It’s a glorious presentation of the ideal of the Missionary and his work, after the pattern and constitution laid down by Jesus Christ for His apostles. Irving believed that one of the reasons for the failure of modern missionary work to match up to the power and effectiveness shown in the apostolic church was the failure to appreciate the high and holy character of the work, and the necessity for the missionary to be entirely dependent upon God.
Mar 11, 2022 – How is Perfection Possible?
Here is another new release. This is an early booklet from Robert Brinsmead, of the Awakening message in the late 1950’s to early 1960’s. It is a brief exposition of the gospel message that leads to the perfection of the saints. It uses the word “eradication” a number of times, which was to be emphasized much more in the ministry of F. T. Wright, who carried on the light from the Awakening.

Here is a reformat of this excellent book on Daniel (especially chapter 11), by Robert Brinsmead. This is the best published Adventist interpretation of this chapter in existence. Everyone should be familiar with the truths contained in this small volume. Nothing new has been added, but many small formatting changes were implemented to make it easier to read.
Sept 28, 2020 – God’s Eternal Purpose
Written in 1959, here is a very rare offering from the pen of Robert Brinsmead, while he led the Awakening movement. The Awakening was a revival of the 1888 message, and took place in the 1950’s and early 60’s. It was out of that movement that the ministry of F. T. Wright developed, so there are many parallels between the gospel presented in this book, and the gospel that Fred taught. It is a comprehensive look at the Gospel in the light of the Sanctuary. I have added 50+ historic Bible pictures.

Here is a formatting update for this book: page size was adjusted, fonts changed (to the “non-G” Libertine versions), some corrections and formatting changes to pages, and the cover was slightly enhanced. While working on this, I discovered a bug in the LibreOffice rendering of the covers of many of the books over the last 1.5 years; those books with transparent radial areas behind the title often had small white pixel artifacts. There is a way to correct this, but it will be a while before I can regenerate all the PDF’s involved.

This is a remarkable series of articles from Ellen White on the life of Solomon, and what it teaches us. Some of this material was later included in the book Prophets and Kings, but not all. There are more counsels to the church and its work, because Solomon’s example (both the good and the bad) are applicable to us today. With the release of this volume, I’ve also given Ellen White her own section in the list of book authors. While I don’t plan to reproduce everything she wrote (time would be too short), I would like to include some material that is not so widely known, or that has not been republished.

Here is the first release of a volume of the Fragments series of collected articles, by E. J. Waggoner. This one is on health, healing, and temperance. Many will perhaps be surprised to find that Waggoner wrote so much on this topic (about 700 pages), since so little of it has been published before.

I’m very happy to release this book on the important topic of Gospel Order, which reveals the principles behind God’s method of communicating to His church. The original 48 diagrams have been reworked for this publication.
May 20, 2019 – The Everlasting Covenant
Finally, this classic work, one of Waggoner’s most important books, is ready! 595 pages of pure gospel truth, showing how God’s everlasting gospel was available and manifest in the Old Testament, particularly in the covenant with Abraham, and the people of Israel. Also includes an interesting history of the book, and a family biography from E. J. Waggoner’s daughter, Pearl.

Mar 27, 2019 – Revival and Reformation
Here is a full reformat of one of Fred Wright’s earliest books. This one covers the sanctification process which takes place after the new birth, and it especially dwells on the factors that lead to sin, and the sources of sin, in the regenerate Christian. Some serious warnings are drawn from the example of the apostles, at the time of Christ’s arrest and trial. This situation is parallel to the time of the death decree in the near future. This book also marks a switch from the “Graphite” Linux Libertine/Biolinum fonts, to the non-graphite versions. This is for better compatibility when copying text from PDF. (Mar 29 – implemented italics from the original book, and added another song.)

I took a brief break from working on the larger books of F. T. Wright, to prepare this small, but very significant study from A. T. Jones. It’s a thought-provoking look at how the gospel and law (or doctrines) are to be perfectly joined together in one unified, living message.
Jul 1, 2021 – Christ’s Faithfulness in Sabbath Keeping
This is a fairly significant formatting update, as this book was originally done many years ago, before some of the formatting rules were perfected. Corrections were made to the text also, and historic Bible images were added. This book explores how Christ’s way of Sabbath keeping was the major cause of the persecution He received, and how this parallels the last great struggle ahead of us.
Jan 25, 2019 – The Destiny of a Movement
This book has received it’s second formatting update. This time, color pictures are introduced, and all the diagrams were carefully checked and updated. Subheadings were added throughout, and the page-size was updated to the current standard. This is a book about the changes that came into the Seventh-day Adventist church in the 1950’s, how they are being excused today, and how they were a departure from the everlasting gospel message God gave to that church in 1888. It is not criticism, but dwells upon, and explains the 1888 message, so the truth can clearly be seen in contrast to the error.

“Justified by Faith” is a marvelous booklet on what justification is all about, both now and in the judgment. It highlights where so many modern teachings of “justification” are failing, and shines a clear light on the pathway of the sinner, to lead him to Christ. With the completion of this booklet we reach a milestone. All the FTW booklets have now been reformatted. There are still a few that were done some years ago that need to be rechecked, but I can now concentrate on finishing the FTW books.

This is a (hopefully) final reformat, that brings this booklet up to the latest standards. Some of the diagrams were reconstructed, some new (color) pictures added, chapter marks in footnotes added, page size adjusted.
Jan 18, 2019 – Facing the Judgment
This booklet was not reformatted before, so it is now finally up-to-date. New cover, linked Contents, Chapter markings in footer, relevant song included, ODT download available. The aim of this booklet is to show that all sin must be dealt with before the judgment, which takes place before Christ returns. This is the plain teaching of the sanctuary and the wedding parable of Matthew 22.
Jan 15, 2019 – The 144000
This is a minor formatting update. It’s been almost 3 years since “The 144000” was done, and since then we’ve changed the page size (slightly, to 5.5 x 8.5), and implemented better Chapter markings in the Footer. So this is just a refresh of the format, no new material. Eventually, I hope to go through all of the books on our site and refresh them in a similar way.
Jan 6, 2019 – Living Righteousness and the Sabbath of God
Finally this book on the gospel reasons behind the Sabbath is fully reformatted. All the diagrams were redone, color pictures were used from the FTW Writings CD, and some of the color pictures from the original printed book were scanned and inserted. Subheadings were added. My new years resolution is to finish reformatting the FTW material (a few more pamphlets to go and quite a few books).
Dec 23, 2018 – God’s Way in the Sanctuary
This is a major new update to this landmark book on the Sanctuary and its services, in the type, and in the reality, united with the everlasting Gospel message. It is based on Fred’s last, corrected text, includes all the new color cover and illustrations from the FTW Writings CD, is fully sub-titled, indexed, and includes related songs. Dec 16, 2018 – Christ in the Old Testament
A pioneer booklet by James White. Full title is “Christ in the Old Testament and the Sabbath in the New Testament.” It covers the Sabbath/Law issues while laying some interesting groundwork in the everlasting gospel message.

This is a wonderful book on Christ as the Seed Bearer, the second Adam and new father of the human family.

The history that makes up this short book, was originally Chapter 23 in the much larger volume, “The Two Republics,” by A. T. Jones. I’ve prepared it separately because it provides a concise history of the struggle for freedom of conscience, first in Europe, and then later during the founding days of America. The text has been reformatted for clarity, and I’ve added more pictures.

Finally, the website has been converted to https, the secure connection protocol that is becoming the standard. What this means for the end-user, is that any comments left on pages, or emails sent via the contact form, are now transmitted securely, so that nobody can intercept the stream and pull out private information.

The “Fragments” series will consist of 12 volumes, collecting together the Periodical Articles of A. T. Jones (there will be an identical set for E. J. Waggoner as well). This volume of articles, written from 1885 to 1907, provides a wonderful introduction to the Bible teaching about the Church: its composition and membership, its officers, its service, its missionary work, and its organization.

Volume 15, the final book of Edward Irving’s lectures on Revelation is now ready. This volume covers Revelation 6:9-11, the opening of the fifth seal which introduces a vision of martyrs crying out for vengeance. This period was fulfilled during the time of the dark ages and Reformation, when the Catholic church tortured, persecuted, and killed any who dared to differ from her in beliefs.

Here is Volume 14 of Edward Irving’s lectures on Revelation, which covers Revelation 6:1-8, the opening of the first four seals of the sealed book, and the prophetic events which follow. Irving’s views on these first four seals differ somewhat from standard Adventist interpretation, although he sees the events as being fulfilled in roughly the same historical periods. Nevertheless, the history of this time, when the church was becoming more and more political in nature, is important, and therefore worth reviewing.

Here is Volume 13 of Edward Irving’s lectures on Revelation, which covers Revelation 5:6-14, the heavenly scene where Christ takes the sealed book from the Father. Christ’s qualifications to take the book, what the book actually represents, and the songs of the Elders and Angels that follow Christ’s action, are all investigated and explained from the Bible.

But when men do not want to give God His place within their soul, they are no longer able to govern themselves, and therefore must be governed by others. This is how human government started. In this book, comprised of studies given at the 1897 General Conference, A. T. Jones covers the history of the struggle to maintain true godly government (“keeping the commandments”), and the various apostasies that resulted in reliance on men, human governments, and false idols.
