Steps to Christ

Steps to ChristThis wonderful little book, by the inspired pen of Ellen G. White, explains the Gospel of personal salvation in a very simple and thorough way.

In this edition, I’ve used the authorized text of the 1892-93 edition, but I’ve introduced the formatting rules I use on all our books, to make the Bible texts and other quotes stand out, and thus introduce more space and order on the page. This also makes it easier to gather the texts quoted, for further study or memorization.

I’ve also used many of the pictures from the 1921 printing, as well as some of the poems from that edition. Most of the printer’s ornaments come from various foreign translations of Steps to Christ.

There is an Appendix chapter at the end, which contains a sermon given by A. T. Jones in 1893. About half-way through this sermon, he compares the teaching of Steps to Christ, with the Catholic idea of justification, to show how different they are.

And at the very back of this publication, there is a section of Songs, written by members of our church, on some of the Bible texts used in this book. 183p
